More Bad News for Barack

Things got tougher for Barack, as he received another dubious endorsement Monday evening in Detroit.

FLINT, Mich. - Al Gore announced his endorsement of Barack Obama Monday and promised to help the Democrat achieve what eluded him - the presidency.

"I present to you the next president of the United States, Barack Obama!" Gore said in a brief introduction of Obama at a Detroit fundraiser. He planned a later appearance with Obama at a 20,000-person rally at the Joe Louis Arena.

Gore joins Jimmy Carter, Fidel Castro, Robert Reich, Ted Kennedy, Tom Hanks, NARAL, John Edwards, Jane Fonda, The Teamsters and Steel Workers unions, Moveon.org, John Kerry, Michael Moore, Oprah Winfrey, George Clooney, Reggae Singer Cocoa Tea, and Hamas political adviser Ahmed Yousef, just to name a few of the more credible of Barack's famous endorsers.

In a letter to be e-mailed to Obama supporters, the former vice president and Nobel Prize winner wrote, "From now through Election Day, I intend to do whatever I can to make sure he is elected president of the United States."
Word is that the campaign still hasn't been able to nail down an endorsement from Sinead O'Connor.

I'm sure he'd like the endorsement from Sinead. He'd have to accept and then deny her endorsement to get the Catholic vote.

In between though, he'd get to express his shock and dismay over her comments. Had he been aware of her anti-Papal actions, he might not have sought her endorsement, but it happened when he was only 6 years old!
