The View is evil.
Don't get me wrong - it was an impressive performance from Michelle Obama on the show this morning - she was warm, reasonable, and talked loads of family. No mean America talk, no first time being proud, either.
But Woopi helped her on the "proud of America" debacle, playing the second time she said it, with the word "really" before proud, which some think mitigates the statement's harshness, and saying that the version without the word really is an edit. You can watch it here, again, and see both versions for yourself. It pisses me off that they would lie so convincingly on Obama's behalf.
